Welcome
Welcome to the Bryanston Cricket Festival Website.
This years festival runs from Monday 8 August - Friday 12 August. The festival concept was introduced by Graham Symons of the Dorset Cricket Board in 2009 and was originally set up to foster the development of cricket in Dorset, Wiltshire and the Channel Islands. The Guernsey Cricket Board took over the running of the festival in 2013 after Graham retired. The four teams involved from the start have been Dorset, Guernsey, Jersey and Wiltshire, in 2014 the festival has been extend to 6 teams with the addition of Sussex and Oxfordshire. The emphasis on the festival has, and will always be, fun, enjoyment and participation. There are no trophies for the winners, just the applause and respect from the other teams at the end of the week's cricket is suffice. Meeting and establishing lasting friendships, learning the etiquette of the game and developing as a cricketer is what the week is all about. Jason Shambrook
